Master Board Monday EP 3 | Gelli Plate Multi-tasking

This week’s Master Board Monday was all about pinks, reds, and multitasking while I create. 💗 It’s been cold here, so I settled into the studio and let the process unfold naturally. I used my gelli plate in a few different ways during this session — not only to pull prints, but also as a stamping pad for the stamps I carved myself. I love finding ways to make one tool do multiple jobs, especially when it leads to layers I can use later. While I worked, I also pulled extra gelli plate prints to save for future projects, tags, and collage work. It’s one of my favorite ways to stay loose, experiment, and build a stash while staying in the flow. You might notice a little heart artwork in the background — Skylar wasn’t here this day to show the heart she created, and she made me promise she could show it herself in the next video she’s here for. She wanted to show her “fans” properly, so we’ll save that moment for next time.
