What a fine piece of Pop Rock! Bad Company's "Rock and Roll Fantasy!" The track was released as the first single from the group's fifth studio album Desolation Angels. It was not the band's highest charting single in America, but it is their best selling, having been certified Gold by the RIAA. The song would peak at Number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1979, ultimately climbing to number 54 for the Billboard Year-End singles chart in that year. This song is all about that opening riff and Paul Rodgers' incredible vocal. These videos serve as lessons on how I play this bunch of Pop, Rock, and Reggae songs - sometimes as a single guitarist playing the only guitar part, though that's rare.
