A walk through Stanley Park, Gosport - Part 2

The theme for Heritage Open Days 2020 is HIDDEN NATURE. In Gosport we explored some of the more 'out of the way' green areas in our Town. In this meander through Stanley Park you'll visit the woodlands within the park, see the animal graves of pets which belonged to the family living in Ashburton/Bay House, and the more recent ornate wood sculpture of a tree. Today sees many memorial trees planted around Stanley Park and provides a wonderful, peaceful setting for people to remember their loved ones as well as providing a fantastic location for families to enjoy a good, old fashioned summer's day spent in the park.
