Il Forte Rivoli, chiamato anche Forte Wohlgemuth, è una fortezza situata nel comune di Rivoli Veronese nella stretta del fiume Adige, su di un'altura del monte Castello a 227 m di quota. Edificato a difesa del confine austriaco, prese il nome di un generale dell'impero distintosi nella prima guerra di indipendenza. Con l'annessione del Veneto al Regno d'Italia è passato sotto il controllo del Regio Esercito, cambiando il nome in Forte Rivoli. Oggigiorno il forte è stato recuperato e aperto al pubblico. Fino all'estate del 2017, qui era ospitato il museo di storia militare Walter Rama. Forte Rivoli, also called Forte Wohlgemuth, is a fortress located in the municipality of Rivoli Veronese in the narrow of the Adige river, on a hill of Mount Castello at 227 m above sea level. Built to defend the Austrian border, it took the name of a general of the empire who distinguished himself in the first war of independence. With the annexation of Veneto to the Kingdom of Italy it passed under the control of the Royal Army, changing its name to Forte Rivoli. Today the fort has been recovered and opened to the public. Until the summer of 2017, the Walter Rama military history museum was housed here.
