Link to this guitar https://www.shawnbrockmusic.com/shop/... We here at Shawn Brock Music, are very proud of our relationship with Gallagher Guitars of Murfreesboro Tennessee. It is both a point of honor, and sadness from which we offer this consignment. A dear friend, who Had a high degree of responsibility in the creation of the Gallagher Bluegrass Bell, has consigned his collection of instruments with us, as he needs money due to unfortunate medical circumstances. This is the very first Gallagher Bluegrass Bell to be produced, and a listen to the video demo will show you that this series has been a home run from the first swing. If you have working ears, they will tell you all you need to know, and comparing this instrument against many others will allow you to judge the quality of the tone against its contemporaries. This guitar does have some custom features, as the customer, who is also a luthier, selected choice materials from his own stash for the production of this guitar. Specs include: exhibition grade sapele back and sides, torrefied Adirondack spruce top, torrefied Adirondack top and back bracing, forward shifted and scalloped X bracing in the 37 style, flamed maple binding, open geared vintage inspired tuning machines, mahogany neck with V profile, 1 3/4 nut width, Ebony Bridge and fingerboard, bone nut and compensated saddle, 25.25 scale length, gloss nitro lacquer finish, strap button installed from Gallagher shop, Ebony Bridge pins, provided with the original TKL HSC. The bass on this instrument is very strong, while the trebles exhibit a lush undertone, which provides a silky roundness to the notes. this instrument is not brash in any way, and spight of having a torrefied top and bracing. Let’s face it, some people don’t know how long to cook them in the kitchen, but Gallagher isn’t one of those people. The instrument has more than ample volume, and has not been played abundantly during its short life. It barely shows signs of handling, it has not been abused, and is basically a new instrument, showing no signs of fret wear. It is the first example, also with materials That are of a superior level than the already high standard, and belongs with someone who cherishes great sound, but also history of an American staple of acoustic guitar making. This one is guaranteed to jerk your chain and ring your bell! #Gallagherguitars #Bluegrassbell #Tennesseeguitarmaker #Prewarstyleguitars #Sapeletonewood #Goldeneraguitar #Torrefiedadirondackspruce #Guitardemos
