Now I personally like mulching my lawn clippings because of the benifits. one is quicker mowing times, i do not have to stop and dump a bagger. I don't need recycle bags to put clipping in. I get free fertilizer throughout the season when the clippings break down into the soil. My lawn is thicker. No debris left on lawn. Now Bagging your lawn over mulching your lawn clippings also fas its advantages. Bagging the lawn seems to leave it cleaner. The mower does not have to word as hard because the clippings go directly into the bag. you can create a compost pile to use later in flower beds which also means no landfield spaces will be used. Now discharge is a little different. years ago most mowers strictly discharged the lawn clippings, but now the perfered choice is bagging and mulching your lawn clippings. the only advantage of the discharge is your mower will run a max power in most cases because there is now airflow restrixtions. a lot of land scappers do this for a cleaner cut on lawns.
