Tours are usually carried out using luxurious Double Decker buses. In 2025, it is not uncommon to see companies operating Marcopolo G8s for this type of service, although from time to time some older buses also appear, such as the Marcopolo Paradiso Marcopolo G6. The highlight of this video is the portrayal of the lack of structure for buses and passengers to leave the port of Santos. The Giusfredo Santini Passenger Maritime Terminal – Concais –, opened on November 23, 1998, is the largest and most modern in Latin America, with 41,900 m². It has been serving and serving shipowners, passengers and everyone involved in the day-to-day of the Maritime Cruise segment with excellence for over two decades. Concais S/A is a private company that operates and manages the Giusfredo Santini Passenger Maritime Terminal. Concais won a public tender held by Codesp – Companhia Docas do Estado de São Paulo, a federal government company that acts as the Port Authority of Santos. In 2018, the lease agreement PRES No. 022/98 was renewed until 2038, through the seventh addendum subrogated to the Union, represented by the MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION, PORTS AND CIVIL AVIATION, as the GRANTING AUTHORITY, within the limits of the legal powers established by Law No. 12,815/2013 and Decree No. 8,033/2013, preserving the respective powers of ANTAQ and CODESP. When the Giusfredo Santini Maritime Passenger Terminal – Concais was created, the Port of Santos gained unprecedented visibility for the Santos and regional community. The development at Cais do Armazém 25 made people see that stretch of port not only as a service platform for transatlantic ships, but also as a complex with immense tourism potential, which was confirmed and consolidated. It was a milestone in the integration of the Port and the City. During this period, the community in the development cycle felt and followed the effects of cruise ships on the local economy – job creation, expansion of companies supplying and providing services to passenger ships, and the emergence of new and promising businesses. This is why Concais is proud to be part of this new development cycle and the "Port-City Integration". The movement of transatlantic ships became a tourist attraction, drawing attention to the importance of the activity, and Concais is now a postcard of Santos and, due to its significant contribution to the tourism industry in the country, as it is the Port that embarks and disembarks the most passengers, it has also become a national reference. The Giusfredo Santini Maritime Passenger Terminal – Concais – is part of the ABA INFRA group and was opened on November 23, 1998. It is the largest and most modern in Latin America, with 41,900 m² and for over two decades it has been serving and providing excellent service to shipowners, passengers and everyone involved in the day-to-day operations of the Cruise segment. The passenger ships brought waves and waves of foreigners who came to try their luck in Brazil. Families came in search of opportunities, brought by vessels that made history. The Port of Santos has witnessed the phases that have marked passenger ships over the decades and centuries, from the time of immigration to the present day.
