There is no shortage of red snapper & they are hungry on today’s show. To quote Chris “There's a Bunch of Red Snapper Out Here!!!!” So why is the recreational season so short? In 2016 only 11 days were allowed for Louisiana recreational fisherman to fish for red snapper. The problem is not a shortage of red snapper; it is how the federal government says they have to be managed & how the law requires them to be controlled. The Theodore Roosevelt Conservation & many others are working together with the Federal Government to find a better way to have these fish managed. On this Cooking segment, brought to you by Tony Chachere’s Famous Creole Seasoning, Becky Grafton prepares her famous Mango Salsa over grilled red snapper.
