Cobh is a thriving seaport on the south coastline of Great Island in Cork Harbour. Possibly best known as the last port of call for the Titanic before it headed across the Atlantic, it was the major departure point for more than 2.5 million Irish who emigrated to North America in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is still a stop-off for many cruise liners (the one visible at the seafront is the MV Brittania). This video shows the approach to Cobh from the north, passing by St. Colman's Cathedral (91.4 metres - 300 ft tall) and ending up at the J.F. Kennedy pier along the West Beach Road. Shot on a helmet-mounted GoPro 10 camera on the 18th of June 2025.
