2023 Kia Seltos - Positives & Negatives | First Drive

We finally drove the recently launched 2023 Kia Seltos facelift to find out all its big positives and negatives. While it surely has become more feature-rich, it's also the most powerful/fastest car in its category, thanks to the new 1.5-litre Turbocharged engine. This engine puts out an impressive 158bhp and 253Nm and is claimed to do 0-100kmph sprint in less than 9 seconds. Though we could manage to do the same in 10.5 seconds with two people in the car weighing over 160kgs in total. While it still offers multiple engine options - 1.5-litre NA, 1.5-litre Turbo and 1.5-litre diesel, its Turbo and diesel version don't get a proper manual transmission. They instead get a 1.5-litre iMT - a clutchless manual transmission. Prices of the vehicle range from 10.89 lacs to Rs 19.99 lacs (ex-showroom)
