Filmed over 2 days I take a tour of the Boscombe area of Bournemouth an area that was once rich with high levels and great locations which have all been modernised or closed by the council. My tour starts at Boscombe Gardens where the toilets where in my 'First year of discovery' and then continue towards the seafront to places found by myself between 2002-2003. Later in the tour I move back inland through Southbourne, Pokesdown and the Boscombe itself towards Kings Park and finishing in Springbourne. Boscombe had been part of Bournemouth since the late 19th centaury and was once the wealthiest areas in the area until the 70s and 80s when large houses where converted into bedsits followed by a number of people with drink and drug problems which gave Boscombe a bad reputation. Some attempts to improve the area have been carried out since the early 90s but the toilets have not been treated well. The final part has my own pics taken mostly in 2009 and some music.
