So I often get questions regarding these little 'micro' grows I like doing so I figured I'd make a bit of a vid to show you guys what's up and explain how easy it can be! It's really perfect for anyone who is interested in growing, but doesn't want to commit to the big, expensive setup. These are female-only photoperiod-type plants (this particular cultivar is called Purple GodBud) and like I mention in the video, they go directly under a 12/12 lights on/lights off schedule and stay like that for the entire duration of the grow. They basically grow like an autoflower (as long as the 12/12 schedule is maintained). I grew these plants in my #supersoil but you could easily do this with 'traditional' bottled/powdered nutrients as well. You really don't need much more space than 1.5'x1.5' (45cmx45cm) and about 3' (90cm) of ceiling height, and can easily be done using a set of 4x T5 fluorescent/LED lights, or even a small a single small LED light fixture (see links below). It's also a fun project if you're the DIY-type and like to build your own contraptions. Overall though, you can probably get going for around $200-$300CAD, depending on the deals you can find/how resourceful you are. Now keep in mind, light/tent is the bare minimum for what you would need and, depending on you situation, may need to purchase additional equipment (exhaust fan/carbon filter for odour control, nutrients, etc.). But yes, beyond that, and with a decent amount of attention paid, you too could be well on your way to growing the dankest of cheeba yourself! And the best part - the cost of this stuff to grow when all is said and done was probably around $0.50 -$1.00 per gram. Not bad at all!!
