My sole purpose for planting this plant is to use the leaves for ekwang which is a delicacy eaten in the north west and south west regions of Cameroon. Cocoyam can also be used to cook different meals like achu, or just boil and eat with some vegetables. Every part of this plant is edible and I also love it because of its nutritive value. I did this in the winter so that I could harvest more during the summer.
