Discovering Raccoon Mountain, Tennessee

This video documents some of our initial exploration of Raccoon Mountain, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Jacob explored the mountain biking trails while Jon and I (Joe) did some short hikes and shot some drone video. In this time of social distancing, we decided to take a day trip to explore an area we had never been to before where we could keep our distance from people. We had wanted to explore Raccoon Mountain for a while, so this was the day. This video is different than most of our content. There is very little hiking or mountain biking video, but a lot of scenery and drone video. We weren't really planning on shooting any video, but then Jon decided to bring along the drone, so we did capture some drone video and a little more for context. The weather was warm but a little hazy. Pollen was thick and we all came home with allergy symptoms. The actual facilities (visitor's center, all restrooms, etc.) were all closed due to COVID-19, but it was a great trip and we will certainly be returning in the future better prepared to show the place to everyone.
