THIS IS BURMESE SAVORY PANCAKE PIZZA FROM YANGON - MONT YAY PAR SAVORY PANCAKE ( မုန့်ရေပါး - ချွေတာရေးမုန့် ) Most of Burmese (Myanmar) rice flour related snacks are delicious in their own ways. Steamed Vatana White Peas is quite common to have with rice and use in variety of snacks. Savory Crispy Pancake, one of the best street food, made with rice flour and top with steamed vatana peas and other ingredients. INGREDIENTS BATTER 100 g Rice Flour 1 tbsp Glutinous Rice Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Salt 400 ml Water OTHER INGREDIENTS 1 Tomato (L), sliced into small pieces Chili, chopped Coriander, chopped 1 cup Bean Sprouts 1 cup Steamed Vatana White Pea Masala (optional) Oil to fry & brush the pan (~1/2 cup) INSTRUCTIONS In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for batter. Then, mix well to dissolved. Set aside for 30 mins. Meanwhile, prepare for other ingredients and set aside. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat, and then brush ~1tbsp oil. Stir the batter each time before frying. Ladle in about 1/2 cup of batter (depends on your pan size) and then swirl quickly to spread evenly like a thin disc. Sprinkle all the prepared ingredients: tomato, bean sprouts, chili, coriander and masala on top. Cover and cook for 2-3 mins. Uncover, drizzle some oil and continue to cook till it is crispy. Fold into half and transfer into a plate. Continue to cook the same process till the batter is finished.
