[1st Anniversary Special] Ultimate Genshin Impact Medley on Piano (Chapter Mondstadt)

Happy 1 year anniversary! This is probably my longest arrangement/cover ever. Well, tbh I think this is also my 50,000 subscribers special but I haven't got there yet hahaha. It took us a few weeks to just think about the music selection. We original decided to do a medley including OST from 1.0-1.6 but there are just too many good music there. At the end we decided to do a medley for Mondstadt this time and Liyue next time. The medley features those most popular Lyrical music as well as 4 battle themes from Boss theme to normal battle BGM. There are a lot of things we don't get used to do during the arranging. It's quite difficult to put the music in order considering the style, story line and of course, key signature. We tended to keep everything in original keys. We FAILED for some of the music!! But I think it works better for some transition sometimes. Since it’s a medley, I kinda feel free to do what I feel like to. Like the Davlin Melody, it was part of improvisation originally to include the motif from both stormterror liar BGM. I decided to use a bit different harmony to help the build up leading to the Final Battle Theme. Jasper Hu helped me to improve some melody to harmony to make it sound better. I try to include the theme from Davlin Stage 1 (which was only in main story quest). I really love this theme and I’m not regretting to put in this medley! I finally did the wolf theme this time as well but it’s very hard to arrange for solo piano so we did a bit differently which part of it is not following the original music. Hope it still sounds epic enough for you guys. The ending was another improvisation originally which somehow went to the Liyue Motif (D E F# A) and I decided to keep this idea since we are definitely going to arrange Liyue Medley in the future.
