How to Build a Super Soaker Staple Tiger Coil

The Super Soaker Staple Tiger Coil is one of the hardest coils to name - it is indeed a tongue twister. Building it is a lot easier than it sounds, tho. I’m going to show you how. We’re going to combine the concept of a tiger coil with a super soaker and a staple coil. A tiger coil usually consists of twisted ribbon wire - either twisted with more ribbon or round wire. A staple coil is claptoned ribbon wire. And a super soaker is a multi core wire - sometimes as many as 100 strands of wire if not more. This 6 wrap dual coil build consists mainly 40g, 36g, and .5 ribbon - all nichrome. It ohms out at about .17 ohms.
