How to Paint an Avocado I Acrylic Painting Process I The Artistry of Realistic Painting

I was very careful while painting the fleshy mesocarp, which is the edible portion of the fruit. Used lighter shades of a luscious, yummy greenish-yellow color for areas exposed to light, and darker green at the edges. On this area I made light soft lines and dots to make the avocado look fresh and appetizing. Soft thin brushstrokes and color combinations helped to achieve the desired mouthwatering effect! What is your thought? As a final touch I created a stippled effect, simulating the subtle bumps and textures of the avocado skin (exocarp) which is revealed very little at the bottom.
