“The war at home” PSA: Raising Awareness for Veterans with PTSD

Comrades this presentation came from the boot campaign last year as we wore the boots around our necks to draw attention to the 22 comrades we lose each day! The first phase of the clip depicts the new generation of Woman Warriors because the bandage needs to come off. The table seen with the weapon present depicts a comrade from the “ Forgotten War” was referred to as Battle Brain he has sat at his table and contemplates calming the storm or starting his day since Korea, This is real life stories of many of our comrades that carry this crisis every day and the slightest odd sound sends them into reactive mode. Many cannot even go to the store or a restaurant without staging an egress point. I know many ignore the facts but, perhaps the paperboy, and or your daughters best friend has returned home but is not the same. Have you took that step and checked up on them to see if perhaps they are okay or just want to talk. This PSA was made to bring awareness to those that are not aware that the resources and reach those that are in need.
