Murray River Adventure Motorbike Ride & Camping

Its was time for another motorbike adventure ride and Friday night camp on my Honda CRF250 Rally. With a cold wet start and a quick pit stop I was off to work.I headed East from Adelaide carving my way through the beautiful green Adelaide hills towards Mannum on the Murray river.It was spectacular views but with night closing in and a severe weather warning of gale force winds later in the evening it was time to setup camp. My plan was to head across the river to Copeville to look at a silo art project before turning turning back towards the river. With my fuel running low and the wind significantly increasing I decided to head to Walker Flat to fuel up and stop at some view points. After fuelling up and eating something I had a look on the map and decided to head for the gap road. This option takes you through the hills instead of over them and I hoped to get some protection from the wind. With the conditions slowly getting worse and my and my GoPro battery running flat it was time to take the black top home. I arrived home tired and cold but but feeling satisfied.
