Wetherspoons Fish & Chips Review!

Back with another FISH & CHIP review 🐟🍟 Now I’ve had loads of people messaging me since I started doing these videos asking me to go to a Wetherspoons to test out theirs. I hear good things, bad things but the main thing I’m heading is that it’s inconsistent! Sometimes really worth it and sometimes not worth it at all. So I thought I’d put it to the test! I’d go for one of my favourite Wetherspoons which is the Bellhanger in Chepstow! ☺️ Ordered fish, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce & San Pellegrino which came to a total of £11.54. The food came out quickly as always at Spoons and I gotta say on first look it looked really good. I’ve seen a lot worse fish and chips. The fish had a really crispy batter and I can say there so no soggy bits what so ever but there was a lot of batter which made the fish look bigger than it was when really it was just batter haha. I do like batter though so I don’t mind that too much but would love a bigger piece of fish! 🐟 The chips were actually decent (I always find there chips pretty good) the mushy peas was bang average & the curry sauce which was a chip shop style curry sauce was actually very pleasant. Overall for £11.54 it’s alright I just wish the actual cod was bigger and there was slightly less batter but the curry sauce will forever now stay in my mind whenever I order at spoons I’ll be getting some of that on the side! Maybe not the mushy peas mind! 😂 Big up The Bell Hanger. Your staff were all brilliant ❤️
