Three time lapses from three different views. A winter storm moved across parts of south central New York December 1 to 2, 2019. On December 1 the storm mostly produced sleet and freezing rain. Then there was a pause. On the morning of December 2 a series of snow bands, producing heavy snow, moved over the area. Storm total was 10.5 inches. The first two views taken with a raspberry pi zero w with a camera attachment. Both of these cameras were on the deck, the first one was about 7 inches off the surface and the other 8 inches. The last view was from a raspberry pi zero w with a 160 degree camera. This camera was clamped to a gutter overlooking the deck. This was so that I could see the trees sag. Sag they did. Joy! Captured and slapped together using a combination of bash, imagemagick, ffmpeg, and a bit of python. NOTE: There is no audio. Put on your favorite music, if you are not already listening to it now, and watch. Notables: Sagging trees. Godzilla grows an icicle in his mouth. Watch for other growing icicles. First camera gets buried, second camera was under a table. Near the end of the video there is some steam from the dryer moving pass the camera. Some height stats: Mr. Bill = 5 ¾ inches The Block Heads = 4 ½ inches Gumby = 5 ¾ inches Pokey = 4 ¾ inches Mechagodzilla = 6 ½ inches Godzilla = 7 inches Tux = 5 inches Creeper = 6 inches Zombie = 8 ⅜ inches Sheila = 8 ⅜ inches Imperial Walkers = about 8 inches Time lapse by Ron Murphy.
