Merfolk is one of my favorite creature type and has really been turned around since Ixalan. I am really happy where Merfolk are at in commander, hey ramp, draw cards, and can really deal some damage with the right set up! Merfolk don't look impressive at first as they are small but they are mana efficient AND are all about growing as the game moves on to start punching with damage late and getting out serious value early!
