They regularly go bad and once you start getting misfires caused by a bad coil on one cylinder, you might as well just replace all the coils because you'll eventually have problems with another. I am choosing to replace them as preventative maintenance. The OEM supplier for these coils was originally Bosch and a few years ago Eldor became the newest OEM supplier, so that is what I've chosen to put on.
