I am using a 2.5mm crochet hook for this tutorial so I have to adjust the number of base chains to make the dress. First thing first. You have to measure the doll that you made or have. So my crochet doll measurements are: waist: 10.5cm hips: 11.5cm The stitches used in this pattern for the flower are: ◾ slip knot ◾ ch – chain stitch ◾ sl st – slip stitch ◾ sc – single crochet stitch ◾ inc – increase stitch (2sc in 1) ◾ hdc – half double crochet stitch ◾ dc – double crochet stitch Materials needed for the crochet amigurumi DOLL DRESS🔎: ◾ crochet hook (2,5 mm) ✔️ ◾ 🧶 yarn (appropriate size for the crochet hook) ◾ ✂️scissors ✔️ ◾ needle ✔️ ◾ 🔘 buttons✔️ 🔥🚧🎬 ** USEFULL TIMESTAMPS ** 🎬🚧🔥 00:00 Intro 00:35 Walkthrough 01:35 Start - BASE 05:00 Skirt - row 1 09:00 Skirt - row 2 11:15 Skirt getting the length 32:50 Skirt - edge 38:45 Top 54:00 Calculate the arms 56:10 Shoulder straps 1:01:25 Summary ** 🔥🚧🎬 ** PATTERN ** 🎬🚧🔥 ** PATTERN NOTES: The chain stitch if you look at it is made of the back loop – that is the one on top, the front loop – that is the one on the bottom and the back bump. ◾ 10.5cm - slip knot, 36ch and join in a circle with a slip stitch. So if you have more or less stitches... just do as many as you need for your waist size When beginning a row you always do a chain 1 to step up into the next row and in the end of the row ◾ B1: 36sc – 36st For the hips you need to do a bit of increasing. So in my case I will do 4 increase stitches that I will distribute evenly over the 23st. ◾ B2: (5sc, inc) x times you need to - just work it all around even if you have a different count ◾ B3-desired length: - sc or hdc or dc in each stitch of the row The bottom end of the dress can have a straight edge or a bit of a waves form. If you choose the straight edge just works single crochet stitches around until the desired length. Last row adjust the number of stitches so you can divide by 5 or 6 - with increases. ◾ B Wave 1: {sl st, skip 1 st, 3dc, 3dc, skip 1 st, sl st} x as you need it - multiplayer of 6 ◾ B Wave 2: {sl st, skip 1 st, 5dc, skip 1 st, sl st} x as you need it multiplayer of 5 ◾ B Wave 3: {sl st, skip 2 st, 6dc, skip 2 st} x as you need it - multiplayer of 6 Sew in the ends and continue with the top part. Only the 1st row is joined in a circle, all the other rows are done left to right and back. Each row begins with a chain 1 - if sc, ch2 if hdc, ch3 if dc, to go into the new row and level up the row. Have both button holes on the same side of the dress. ◾ T1: 36sc – join in round – 36st ◾ T2-height: - sc or hdc or dc in each stitch of the row I missed a stitch somewhere so in the end I was working with 35 stitches. Don't forget, at 54:00 I am showing you how to calculate the arm holes. ◾ T Last -1: 6sc, ch8, skip 6st, 11sc, ch8, skip 6 st, 6sc ◾ T Last: 6sc, 10sc in the ch8, 11sc, 10sc in the ch8, 6sc If you need a button hole make a ch6 and join in on top, sew in the ends.
