Yeah so this was out of the blue. This is an idea I started around the May 7th and finished track 1 on the 14th, and it took a long while since my first audio project got corrupted. Big thanks to @videotoygamer2002 for his character artwork and advice! And @KrazyKrok for an audio sample used in one of the tracks! I tried to make this soundtrack as different and optimized as possible, so you might hear a lot of audio changes. Even if you don't notice them the first time, around half of the tracks have something different and them. Also, I guess you could say this is my 3k sub special. And I mean, it fits well. If you guys like this I could try working on another one. And cool premiere fun. 0:00 - Snowbird on ashbank 1:10 Old Macdonald (insturmental) 2:20 Symphony 5 Schubert 4:27 Old Macdonald (sing-a-long) 7:28 Happy Farmer 8:38 Voices of Spring 10:24 Annen Polka 12:06 Farmer in the dell 13:32 Baby Macdonald Hornpipe 15:14 Of Foreign lands And peoples 16:51 serenade for strings 19:13 Spring song 21:32 Hornpipe Melody (combination of bonus feature hornpipes) Track Notes: Track 1 (snowbird) - This is the track that inspired me to do the rest of this soundtrack.. and it’s a bit weird how it’s structured. The beginning is straight from the video, transitioning into the part where the rooster first starts to make noise (with extra ambiance to smooth the transition). Near the end, it is cut to feature the same part as in Baby Macdonald, and that’s about it. Track 2 (Old Macdonald (inst)): This is literally the exact same as the end credits. The only thing that’s different is the first one has a cow mooing at the end, so this is the version without the mooing. I also had to fade the song out because it would end way too suddenly. Track 3 (Symphony 5): Nothing I could change. Nothing wrong with it. Yay. Track 4 (Old Macdonald sing): Oh dear.. 3 minutes of constant singing. But, I did manage to make one cut.. but you can argue it doesn’t sound right. Which I’d agree with.. but, the rooster crowing isn’t part of the song, and extending the silence is hard even with the ambiance. So the cut stays the same. :( Track 5 (happy farmer): this is another unfortunate story. Up until yesterday, the song had the very first part from Macdonald and not the CD version. But, there was this like ring thing from the painting sequence still in there, and it bugged me to the point where I had to change it. So 90% of this song is the CD version (due to the pig noises). The only thing changed was the cut near the end. Track 6 (voices of spring): There was basically no differences between this and the video version.. and I had the CD version on hand, so it’s the CD version hooray. Track 7 (annen polka): This is straight from the video, that’s literally it. And it’s the best song in Baby Macdonald too :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Track 8 (The farmer in the dell): This BY FAR gave me the hardest time. And honestly.. I never want to hear it again. Ever. When my first project got corrupted, I managed to do the things I wanted to all the tracks except the hornpipe.. and once I actually had to work on it, it stumped me, a lot. In order to remove the vocals, I had a few ideas, but they all failed. I even tried replacing the speaking parts with the actual instruments, but apparently not all of them were found and the ones I had didn’t flow so well. Then miraculously, I was messing with the “chickens give us eggs” part, and somehow.. I got the cut to go well!! My only problem now was the first part.. which I actually found a solution to. Apparently Krazy Krok had an audio sample of the glissando that happened right before the speaking part, and I blended that audio with the half sample I had from the actual video. The combined audio actually sounded great, and what’s shown was my final draft. Yayyyyy. Track 9 (video hornpipe): Ok. You can have your argument about the names of this, but for now, it’s an unnamed hornpipe. Which isn’t queen of the west, because that’s the DVD menu song. Anyways, my goal was to remove the rooster noise at the end of the song. It didn’t work. And honestly I wasn’t that bummed since the cluck and the last note made the PERFECT ending. Track 10 (foreign lands and peoples): The audio from the video ends a bit abruptly, but that’s about it. Track 11 (serenade for strings): No, I wasn’t going to add the same old Macdonald song twice. But anyways, since this song was in the puppet shows, why not put it here? This is the CD version obviously. Track 12 (spring song): Also in the puppet shows, and still the CD version. Track 13 (hornpipe melody): This was just a random idea I had, and it doesn’t sound terrible. And you may notice the animal and bird noises, those were intentional. I thought those would be a good way to end the soundtrack. Enjoy
