About Last Night...

Last night, Bob and I celebrated 27 years of marriage, and instead of braving crowds, we chose peace, quiet, and our own dining room table. 🥰For the very first time, we had our anniversary catered at our home, and we were excited like kids waiting on dessert! Steak, baked potato, green salad, spaghetti (yes, with steak – because that’s what I wanted), and a homemade-from-scratch 7 up cake. That’s the celebration menu we wanted!!! Our wonderful caterer, Mrs. Mary Bryant, truly outdid herself! The food was delicious, and the flowers were such a thoughtful surprise. Thank you so much, Mrs. Bryant – you made our night extra special!😘 I had big plans for pictures and sweet memories, by my camera decided it was off duty and it did not want to act right. So, I pulled out the old cell phone! By then, however, Bob and I were focused on what really mattered – eating! I took the pictures mid-meal because we had already started eating. We had been anticipating that meal ALL day, so our priorities were set!🥹 Bob surprised me with beautiful white roses. Somewhere along the way, we thought about candles, but we forgot to get them...but we didn’t forget the love. 😍The evening was filled with laughter, good food, and grateful hearts for how the Lord has brought us. 27 years…one love…and a lifetime to go!
