I built this across open water — a series of platforms stepping up from sea level, each one its own zone. Spinosaurus on one end, Indominus Rex on the other. The gap between them is the whole point. The smaller carnivores ended up on the lower platforms and honestly that's where most of the interesting stuff happened. They're not waiting for anything. By the time the apex confrontation even gets going up top, the lower tiers are already done. What I wanted to see was whether anything from below could push upward and still have enough left to matter at the top. Spoiler — the climb costs more than most of them had on their side. Spinosaurus at elevation with no retreat space is a different animal entirely. Indominus Rex reads the platform geometry in a way I didn't expect. More to this one than just two predators across the water. No real animals — terrain and behavioral study through simulation.
