The Fearleaders Vienna are the official fearleading squad of Vienna Roller Derby, Austria's first roller derby team. With their beauty and grace, they bedazzle audience and skaters alike. For TEDxVienna 2018 they performed their best moves to break up gender stereotypes and set a kinky statement against heteronormative masculinity, machoism and patrimonial patterns. With our two sizes too small spandex panties, legwarmers, headbands and braces in orange and turquoise we try to conquer the world of heteronormative masculinity, machoism and patrimonial patterns with a wink and a healthy portion of self-irony.
