Ya like that bell effect at (4:42) ? haha (EVA SPOILERS WARNING LEMON) I remember right after that crazy over the top final scene of EoE, this piece was the credit roller, and it was honestly the best credit roller I’ve heard in my life. I was not expecting such a colorful redux of the original Thanatos. And just saying, I LOVE the original Thanatos, probably more than this one. Taking back to regular NGE, Seeing Rei self destruct was when the original Thanatos first played, and oh man it had impact. Then, seeing her clones die was crazzzyyyyyy when Ritsuko shut them down. This song played at the trippiest of times, and was written soooo beautifully. 10/10 would turn into orange fanta while listening to this song (END SPOILERS) Then right after I watched the credits, I went on some forums to see what the hell that ending even was lol. Believe it or not I actually dropped the show twice before I finished it. I always got so mad at Shinji for NOT GETTING IN THE GOD DAMN ROBOT. Despite that, I still loved the anime. It made me feel a lot of emotions, and thats what really matters lol. I also really dug the existentialism and relation to all the religious stuff. Theres a lot more attention to detail in Evangelion than most of the anime simulcasts that have come out the last few seasons Sadly I couldn't find who the drummer was originally on this track, but I know the vocalist and her band is named LOREN & MASH. The vocalist's name is Loren, but they don't list the musicians in the band. The E-Piano player on this track was murderous. So good. Besides that, on terms of the actual sound of me playing I know I'm rather loud in the mix. It's a drum cover, what do you expect ya know? lol H E A D S U P .
