We talked with Bayleigh & Peyton about why they choose to live in Vergas, MN located in Otter Tail County. Background info provided by Bayliegh: "My husband and I had a baby boy, True Jacob, in October 2020. True Blue Flower Co. is an ode to his name. We had three miscarriages before having True and my flower gardens were the things that kept me going. I could pour my heart and soul into them and they helped me see the good in things again. True is my “Spring after Winter” and I want to show him and my twins it is important to do what makes you feel like your most genuine, true-blue self. For me that means growing cut flowers with children by my side. Bayleigh grew up on a dairy farm near Vergas, Minnesota where nature has always been a grounding force for her. The quiet Minnesota woods surrounding the farm proved to be the perfect teacher of life lessons growing up. Bayleigh moved away in pursuit of big dreams, but always found herself pulled back to the quiet woods and fields that raised her. In 2018 Bayleigh and her husband Payton moved back to the Vergas area where life has settled into quiet, simple beauty. For Bayleigh, cut flowers started as a way to feel in touch with nature again, but they quickly became so much more. Bayleigh now writes a blog titled “Life Lessons Learned in the Flower Field”, captures nature photography, and operates a True Blue Flower Co. as a way to showcase the beauty around us."
