This piece is part of a concert produced by NSA Music in October 2025. The concerto was performed at the Paul Latham Auditorium in Perth, Western Australia. The soloist is gifetd violinist Ellie Malonzo who is a student at the University of Western Australia School of Music, as are all the orchestra. The conductor was Daniel Corvaia who is now an assistant conudctor at the prestigious Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. To those unfamiliar with Australian Geography, Melbourne is 3,300 KM from Perth, a city more than double our size at 5.5 million people. NSA Music is a not for profit that relies on private and public donations and grants from various businesses and public institutions. Its aim is to bring young musicians to the fore to a paying appreciative audience. This allows our audiences to appreciate the incrediable musical talent that thrives in this remote city and also gives the musicians a platform to perform and expand their musical repertoire. Our productions span symphonies as well as chamber music. Our ticket prices are kept low so that people can come and appreciaet the beauty of great music beautifully performed.
