On July 15th, 2023, LRG, in partnership with Gallery 90220, held an exhibition that tells the story of LRG and the brand’s connection to Hip Hop culture. This exhibition honored Hip Hop turning 50 years old, by featuring never seen photos of icons such as Kanye West, The Roots, Drake, Wale, Gucci Mane, Travis Scott, and Raekwon. As well as, exclusive and exciting collaborations. This is a historic moment as LRG bares its’ history on display in a contemporary art gallery for the first time ever. Unique programming included an artist talk with legendary LRG photographers, accompanied by an outdoor cookout that highlighted music, fashion & live performances by Yoshi Vintage, DJ Faucet, and Winorlose Records. Special panel discussion featured legendary LRG photographers: Kareem Black, Larence Tanjuaquio, Kyle Camarillo, Quang Le + LRG Co-Founder, Robert Wright.
