Marking the Athens label’s revival, Linear Sequence EP delivers four electro-leaning techno cuts, equally suited to the dance floor and late-night listening. 🎧 Fragedis Fragedis is a Greek electronic music producer and DJ associated with the underground techno and electro scene. Based in Greece and closely connected to the Athens electronic community, he has been active for more than two decades, developing a reputation for eclectic DJ sets and productions that blend techno, electro, industrial, and breaks influences. Emerging from the broader Greek rave and club culture of the late 1990s and early 2000s, Fragedis gradually established himself as a distinctive voice in the country’s underground electronic movement. His musical background draws from a wide spectrum of influences—ranging from early hip-hop and disco heard on Athens pirate radio stations to metal, punk, and industrial music—before ultimately transitioning fully into electronic production and DJing. Over the years, Fragedis has released music on several respected underground labels, including Modal Analysis, Pi Electronics, Soil Records, Italo Moderni, Tiger Weeds, and Ferma. His productions often fuse dystopian atmospheres, driving rhythms, and melodic synth work, reflecting a hybrid approach to techno and electro that moves fluidly between dancefloor intensity and more introspective sonic landscapes. In addition to his studio work, Fragedis is known for his contributions to the Greek rave community. He is a co-organizer of Healthy Summer, an independent festival in Crete that has become a respected gathering for underground electronic music and international artists. Among his notable releases is the 2025 EP Nature Causing Chaos on Ferma, a six-track record exploring electro, industrial, and techno textures through tracks such as “Teras,” “Thrust Reverse,” and “Live in Lies.” The release highlights his ability to merge atmospheric elements with driving rhythms while maintaining a strong connection to club culture. Today, Fragedis continues to perform and release music while remaining an active figure in Greece’s underground electronic network, contributing both as an artist and as a cultural organizer within the scene.
