Just went to my first ever Doujinshi comic con in Tokyo Big Site. In my early 20s I was a big fan of European small press comics, and I made made own. I’d say the Dutch and Belgian small press scene was kind of a mix of, cute autobiographical comics then the Tihuana bible naughty stuff that looks like a homeless person drew it under a bridge, and lots of comedy. So I was curious to see the Japanese versions… Really pro level artists! Jaw drop!
