In this I am explaining fundamental concept of organic reaction mechanism. Substates is that reactant which supplies carbon to the new bond and the reactant which attack the substrate is called attacking reagent. A sequential account of each step describing details of electron movement energetics during bond cleavage and bond formation and the rates of transformation of reactant into products is called reaction mechanism. attacking reagents are nucleophile ,electrophiles ,free radicals nucleophile a regent brings electron pair is called nucleophile. nucleophile are nucleus seeking . electrophile a reagent which take away electrophile ,electron seeking is called electrophile. leaving group good leaving group and poor leaving group bond cleavages/fission of a covalent bond they are two types homolytic and hetreolytic bond cleavage in heterolytic bond cleavage bond breaks in such a way that shared pair of electrons remains with one of the fragment. In homolytic cleavage electrons are equaly shared between two fragments. intermediates carbocations a species having carbon atom possesing positive charge is called carbocations. carbocations are primary, secondary, tertiary A compound carrying negative charge on carbon atom is called carbanions. carbocations and carbanions are unstable and so very reactive. #chemistry #plusonechemistry #bscchemistry
