We finally arrived in Santa Barbara, CA, after visiting Redlands (   • Short visit to Redlands, CA  ) and Palm Springs (   • Walking in Downtown Palm Springs, CA  ). This is the highlight of our vacation we had in June 2022. 🏁 We visited the following places: 00:00 - Intro 00:03 - Santa Barbara Harbor, Harbor Walk, Point Castillo 00:32 - Old Mission Santa Barbara 1786 01:02 - Mission Rose Garden 01:32 - Santa Barbara Historical Museum 01:59 - Dolphin Watch (with Condor Express) 02:55 - Superior Court Of California County Of Santa Barbara 03:06 - State Street 03:24 - East Beach 03:39 - Pier Santa Barbara / Stearns Wharf 04:06 - Chromatic Gate 04:09 - Skater's Point 04:13 - Moreton Bay Fig Tree 04:17 - Santa Barbara Train Station (outro) ...and some more places. We walked a lot as usual. I forgot that I was actually in the US when we walked around the city. I felt I was somewhere in a Mediterranean area in Europe (but with a grid plan and parking lots). The American flag reminded me that that's not the case, we're in the US. ⛪🇺🇸 We truly enjoyed walking in Santa Barbara. It was too warm; therefore, we couldn't walk as much as we wanted to. 👟 We spent seven days here, and it wasn't enough to discover everything. Our highlights were the whales (no video footage, unfortunately) with the dolphin pod, the Old Mission, the Rose Garden, and the East Beach. It's no surprise that the tall palm trees mesmerized us here too. 🌴 🤩 We had good food at the Benchmark Eatery (State St) and Flor De Maiz (close to the Stearns Wharf entrance on E Cabrillo Blvd). 😋 This is a city that we would love to visit again!
