SILPURAN® Silicone Adhesive Gels - Peel Adhesion Test
The adhesive coating on a PU film is cut into strips and put on a stainless-steel plate/tray. Rigid tape is put onto the adhesive coating strip. The rigidity of the tape prevents the coating from being stretched during the peel adhesion test. Pressing with a roller ensures that the adhesive is applied to the steel plate with a uniform force. The test strips are pulled at a constant speed at a 90° angle and the resulting peel adhesion force is determined. The silicone-coated test strip is peeled off without leaving any residue.
