ABOUT THE PLENARY SPEAKER --------------------------------------------------- Kris began his career as a nurse, which led to an interest and a doctorate in public health. He teaches quality and patient safety at the Faculty of Medicine at Leuven University in Belgium. He also leads research projects in the field of quality improvement and patient safety with a special interest in care process organization, person-centred care and the respectful management of clinicians and managers after patient safety incidents.
