This is episode 8 of our road trip, 9 countries in 9 days, during which Daniela and I drive my Land Cruiser 120 series, or Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, across Europe, from Sweden down to Portugal. During today's episode we wake up to a campsite that is destroyed by extreme weather, storm Alex passed over us and it was too much for our tent to handle. Our tented collapsed and crashed into our table, leaving it completely broken. We packed up in the rain and learned that this storm caused flash floods and land slides across the region. In that sense, it was a close call, and it could have been much worse. We continue our road trip driving from Lourdes, France, to Burgos, in Spain. It includes an epic mountain crossing through the Pyrenees, the mountain range that separates the Iberian peninsula (Spain and Portugal) from the rest of Europe. Filmed in ultra wide 4K, this is proving to be one of the most beautiful parts of our trip so far.
