After editing it seems the KnKut drill bit did take a little longer than the split point. To be fair to KnKut they might be faster with faster drill speed and different pressure. I basically used them the same way I’d use a standard drill bit. As I use these I’ll experiment with speeds and feeds to see what works best for them. You also have to take in account the time saved not needing to drill a pilot hole and the KnKut drills do make a cleaner hole.
