For When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed | Worship With Me | Songs of Hope

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by life’s circumstances and the weight of the world, then this session is for you. Hi friends, I will be honest, the last little while I have found my faith wavering and doubt creeping in. It can be hard to keep holding on to faith when it seems like each new day brings new burdens and news of suffering and hardships for so many people in the world right now. I have been frustrated, disappointed, confused, overwhelmed… At times I have wanted to give up and run away. But at the end of the day, I find myself saying “Where else would I go?” I don’t have all the answers, but I know the One who does and I believe that His love for us is far greater than the brokenness around us. So I hope that as you worship with me today, some of that fear and anxiety would leave and that you could enter into the words of that ancient prayer in Ephesians 3:16-21, that you being rooted and grounded in love would have power, together with all God’s holy people, to grasp the love of God that surpasses knowledge and be filled with fullness of Christ. And that when everything else is stripped away you are able to turn to the One who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, and find all the comfort and strength that you need.
