In this video we give a retro 1984 Sony WM22 portable cassette player a minor service & refurb. The walkman is in good overall condition and appears to be working as it should. However, We are going to test the unit before working on it. There is a lot of minor scratching / marks on the unit, So we will work to polish these out as best as possible. Lets see if we can get this classic walkman back to its former glory.... The WM-22 was released in 1984 and is a classic Sony walkman model. It was a popular model, As it was aimed to appeal to a wider market. The electronics were simple, But still produced the quality expected from the Sony brand. - I hope you enjoy the video.
