2002 LEXUS LS 430 NOT ENGAGING INTO DRIVE WHEN COLD TRANSMISSION ISSUE FIXED

I wanted to make this video for anyone out there experiencing the same issue that I had after purchasing my 2002 Lexus LS430. I knew from the beginning that it was not a bad transmission but I was told by several places that I would need to swap out the transmission. I decided to take a risk and drain all the fluid and have the transmission pan gasket and filter changed out. With my fingers crossed unfortunately the issue continued. I decided that I was going to drive the car hard for the next couple of days hopefully to relieve something that was clogged or stuck. It seemed to be doing better even when starting cold but not perfect. A few days later I went back to my mechanic and had him do another full fluid change. The next morning the car went perfectly into gear from cold. I do plan on doing one more fluid change in the next three to four thousand miles. I hope this video helps those out there who think their transmission is shot. My car only has 116,000 miles on it and know it can go much more.
