Air Canada 103 | Toronto (YYZ) - Vancouver (YVR) | Trip Report 2019

After a great time in Toronto it's time for me to bid farewell and go on my way to Vancouver. I had a nice early flight at 8am, Didn't have a hard time checking in or going through security and left me with lots of time to wonder around and look at the planes that were arriving and departing. When originally booking the flight this flight was supposed to be on a Boeing 777-200LR, but when I went to board the aircraft I saw the distinct four cockpit window layout of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, caught me completely by surprise and I had to stop myself from showing my excitement out loud lol. Again there were some passengers who believed their carry-on bags would fit in the overhead bin even though they clearly couldn't. Despite all that we pushed back and departed on time, we taxied all the way from Terminal 1 to runway 5 witch made sense to me we were told we had a full flight (even though the middle seat in my row was empty), so we used the longest of the runways at airport. The flight itself was a real nice flight. I even managed to sneak in a quick half hour nap during the flight. I brought my own snacks onboard from one of the shops at the airport, so I can't really comment on the quality of inflight service onboard. I entertained myself by watching a movie, and a few tv shows on the inflight entertainment system, but before we knew it, it was time to land in Vancouver. Got a view of the Fraser Valley as we approached Vancouver, we landed on time on runway 26R. All in all it was a pretty uneventful flight, I loved every minute of it and bringing my experience to you, Hope you all enjoy.
