Lee & Cragg Quarry Mountain Bike Trail | Purely Perfect Peaks

In this video, I head a bit further north than usual, up to a place called Bacup to enjoy some amazing trails in an old quarry Lee Quarry is a mountain biking playground. Starting out at an industrial estate there’s a wide, rocky trail leading up to the top of Lee Quarry. The route is mainly classed as red, but there are also some optional black sections available to more experienced riders. Halfway around the trail is the option to head away from Lee Quarry and venture cross country to Cragg Quarry where the trail is more of a cross country loop but still good fun with plenty of climbs and descents to keep riders on their toes Heading back the way you came to pick up the main trail at Lee Quarry, the final descent down the hillside is one worth putting in the extra effort. It’s a long day in the saddle, but extremely rewarding!
