This scenic drive follows a route from the western neighborhoods of Tucson into the foothills of the Tucson Mountain Park, located just south of the western district of Saguaro National Park. Along the drive, we pass Gates Pass Scenic Lookout, a well-known vantage point for sweeping desert views and sunset photography. In the distance, Mount Lemmon and the Santa Catalina Mountains frame the northern edge of the Tucson metropolitan area.
