Hello, dear friends, this is a re-upload of a video that was freshly uploaded only 3 days ago. There was a problem with it which is now fixed (yay) so I’ve had to upload it again which was a bit disappointing as it takes ages. Anyway, here it is again and I hope you’ll enjoy it second time round! Thank you to the lovely people who have been subscribing and sharing and liking my videos - being new to YouTube it’s a great encouragement to keep going, so thanks! (THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPONSORED) Hello, dear friends and welcome to a really satisfying, hands-on video where I transform an area of my garden by turning a blank space into a gorgeous, whimsical, miniature wildflower meadow. I share with you how to use the ‘no dig’ method which saves a whole lot of time and energy in the garden! To gain inspiration for the wildflower garden, let’s head to Chippy Flower Farm in the Cotswolds (details below) to see the bluest of cornflowers and the reddest of poppies swaying gently together in the sunny Summer breeze and have a fantastic time in their ‘pick your own’ plot 🌼🌸💖 I also give you an unofficial tour of some of my roses and talk a bit about my love of historic roses. Then we go rose shopping at The Cotswold Rose Centre in Wyatts Garden Centre, Chipping Norton (details below) - my favourite place to go to browse for and buy new roses to add to my romantic rose garden. At the end of the video, I hope you’ll enjoy the garden railway! 😃 🚂 I’m so excited to share this with you. A railway is something that just transforms a garden and it takes on a whole new warm-hearted, vintage, romantic character. We have the Prairie Rocket running today as well as the Hogwarts Express from Harry Potter, all whilst listening to an original record from the 1950’s, ‘The Hippopotamus Song’ sung by Joy Nichols, played on a very old wind-up gramophone, complete with authentic crackly sounds! A perfect ending to a wonderful early June day spent doing lovely things! ❤️ Thanks for watching! You shall have a sweet fragrance, like the cedars of Lebanon. Blossom with flowers, like the lily, and diffuse a fragrance, and sprout leaves in grace, and give praise with canticles, and bless the Lord in his works. Give magnificence to his name, and confess to him with the voice of your lips and with the canticles of your mouth and with stringed instruments. And in so praising him, you will confess: All the works of the Lord are very good.” Ecclesiasticus 39:17-21 (Catholic Public Domain Version Bible)
