The ducks get SO excited when the see me pull out the broadfork. They know it's time for goodies. The pigs muscle through the harder chunks exposing even more that my broadforking doesn't accomplish. They don't even know how much easier they are making my work when I have to move this soil into the wheelbarrow and then uphill to the new raised beds. This soil also needs to be moved because it is disrupting the natural flow of water on the property, so these livestock are doing precisely what they are intended for.
