Back to Normality at Carlisle Station - nearly! 16 January 26

My first day at Carlisle Citadel station to see trains since resumption of services over the Clifton bridge and down the West Coast Main Line to Lancaster. As well as the expected passenger trains, the freights threw up a couple of surprises. Freightliner had a loco hitch a free lift on the Basford Hall engineers train whilst a Class 68 rushed south in the dark to rescue a DRS freight stuck at Penrith.
